Dr. Palmer, I also have an article to add to your blog: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/evolution/humans/babies/index.html I thought this article was really interesting because it talks about the idea of humans altering evolution/natural selection by influencing the traits passed onto future generations. On the the other hand, if an undesirable trait is passed on, our technology is so advanced that more than likely it is something that can be fixed so that person really isn't put at any sort of serious disadvantage.
