Human Cloning...Why We Should Do It!

Hi Melissa, http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/247741/why_we_should_clone... I came across this article while looking into next week's lecture topic. The article explores the ethics concerning the cloning of people and what the possible outcomes of this act would be. One of the most interesting points was that of clones being treated as mere slaves or tools by people who created them or parented them. I know that I personally would have a hard time thinking about a clone as a real person so I can see that mistreatment of clones could be very common if this practice were to become available to humans. I think it would be very unethical to treat clones as if they were not people because they would be completely genetically human, however, it would also be hard to think of them as a real person. For this reason, I think that it would be extremely unethical to clone humans and it should not be done. Best wishes,

  1. Cloning took place long time ago and the first person to be cloned was Albert Einstein. He was sent as a baby to a communist country in eastern Europe and now he is living in USA and is contributing in the field of social science and politics but for reasons of security he is working undercover.
